Have you ever wanted to check to see if a used gun you’re interested in buying is stolen? Well, now you can check the serial number on the Ohio AG’s Website.
There are several caveats on the AG’s website about the information that is available. I’ll also add that only a small portion of gun owners keep good records of their serial numbers so just because it doesn’t show up as stolen doesn’t mean it isn’t. But at least you can make an effort if you want to.
